TYPE OF USE
Fuel Economy Engine Oil specifically designed for extended drain intervals (WIV) of new VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda Gasoline and Diesel engines (from 2000 models). For Unit Injector VW, Audi, Seat and Skoda Turbo Diesel engines is recommended MOTUL Specific 505.01 5W-40. For 210 and 225 hp Audi gasoline engines (S3 and TT) and W engines use MOTUL 8100 E-tech 0W-40.

APPROVALS VW 506 01 / 506 00 / 503 00 Synthetic base stocks and specific anti-friction additivation provide an outstanding oil film resistance, reducing friction in the engine, maintaining the oil pressure, and generally decreasing the operating temperature. This 100% synthetic engine oil has been formulated, developed and tested according to the most recent technical requirements requested by VOLKSWAGEN. MOTUL Specific 503.00-506.00 0W-30 provides outstanding lubricating properties such as wear and high temperature resistance and controlled oil consumption. TYPES OF USE
Designed to be used in all types of Diesel engine with direct or indirect injection, naturally aspirated or turbocharged, with or without catalytic converter. Effectively cleans dirtying and clogging which appear in the whole Diesel fuel system :
condensation in the fuel system
gumming in the injection pump
injector nozzle fouling
dirtying of combustion chambers and inlet valves
Provides a perfect lubrication during cleaning phase and prevents removed micro-particles from depositing. Moreover, it prevents from Diesel fuel oxidation and microorganisms formation.
PERFORMANCE
A clean fuel system is a necessary condition for an effective engine running.
MOTUL DIESEL SYSTEMCLEAN allows to :
clean the pump and the injectors (for a better atomisation of Diesel fuel)
prevent the formation of deposits and varnishes on inlet valves and in combustion chambers
disperse condensation water in order to avoid any fuel system oxidation

RECOMMENDATIONS
Directly pour one can of DIESEL SYSTEM CLEAN in the tank before refuelling, regularly, depending on the use (shorten intervals in urban use). The fuel system will be then completely cleaned, from the tank to the combustion chamber. A can is sufficient for tanks up to 60 litres. For bigger tanks, the recommended mixing ratio of Diesel System Clean is 0.50% (200:1). Do not exceed the recommended proportion. If necessary, proceed to 2 successive treatments.

The OPEL/GM Diesel LL B-025 standard requires two main properties to the lubricant : high HTHS and very low volatility to drastically decrease oil consumption. Motul 8100 X-cess 5W-40 is especially recommended for OPEL 2.0 and 2.2 DTI engines (extended drain interval : computer on board).
The ACEA B4 performance requires an outstanding detergent/dispersent power and a better viscosity increase resistance due to soot produced by Direct Injection Diesel engines (excep VW unit injector engines that require MOTUL Specific 505.01 5W-40)
